My first deep meditative experiences changed my life. I no longer needed substances to feel amazing. Yet, I continued many patterns of neglecting the present moment to get back to this “spiritual high”.
After years of trial and error I acknowledge that it’s not important to feel “high”. These experiences can inspire you, but what matters is how you show up and feel in your daily life.
For this integration is key. When you stress your body-mind, it learns. To process the learning you need to spend time in relaxation.
